Crate Pros recently partnered with a company to pack and crate their products ordered from a Chinese customer. The project consisted of multiple crates, and because the products were being shipped via ocean, we applied moisture protection to the products prior to sealing the crates. Our standard moisture protection process consists of placing desiccant bags in and around the equipment and then completely sealing the equipment with heat shrink/shrink wrap by heating the white plastic material with a torch. Completely sealing the machinery will protect it and its components while on the ocean for over 30 days.
Shown in the photos is a machine weighing 12,000 pounds and measuring more than 14 feet long, so the design and construction of this crate were extremely important to allow it to be safely loaded for transport.
