Crate Pros recently had the opportunity to complete the first phase of an international crating and shipping project that involved an air export shipment to China for the testing of a new machine that will eventually be sent to Tennessee as a part of our customer’s expansion plans. The mold, valued at over $100,000, weighed about 1,200 pounds.
As a part of this initial phase, Crate Pros was selected by the manufacturer to pack, crate, and provide export shipping and customs clearance coordination with the importer in China. Once the mold is used for the testing and the new machine is validated, Crate Pros will handle the reverse logistics of the mold, which will include importing, clearing customs, uncrating, and returning the mold to the manufacturer in the same condition it was received.
