Our Founder
Tim Slicker is the founder and general manager of Crate Pros. His passion for logistics and transportation was forged as a captain in the Army in 2003 serving as the battalion logistics officer during the initial liberation of Iraq and Baghdad. Throughout his career, Tim has led teams in logistics, strategy, and operations roles in organizations to include General Mills, Gibson Guitar, IFCO Systems, and Bridgestone. Prior to launching Crate Pros, Tim served as the general manager for the Nashville location of the nation’s leading specialty crating and packaging franchise, which was consistently among the top 5 locations in their U.S. network of over 60 locations.
Tim lives in Murfreesboro with his wife Deanna and their four daughters. He holds a B.S. in Economics from United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. His military honors include the Presidential Unit Citation, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Bronze Star Medal.
